According to Youth Prevention at Youth.Gov, youth violence presents a major problem that affects thousands of young people each day along with their families, schools, and the communities where they live. Youth violence and crime affect a community’s economic growth, and an individual’s physical and mental health and well-being. Research has shown that homicide is the third leading cause of death for youth in the United States, and in 2016, more than 530,000 young people ages 10-24 were treated in emergency departments for injuries sustained from violence. Currently, N.R.A.G.E INC offers its premier program YRU ANGRY to school systems, but we are not limited. Our program also offers an array of programs and services to organizations and institutions that deal with the natural emotion of anger. Our team consists of Psychiatrist, Certified Peer Support Specialist, Social Workers and an Organizational Development and Behavioral Analysis professional that can perform effective workplace intervention strategies. We come to you so there no need to interrupt your day with traveling to participate in our YRU ANGRY presentations.
